Today was Father's Day and it was a grand day I got a wonderful message from my daughter Kelsey in the morning ... a great way to start the day.
It was a chilling Sunday morning for me and early in the afternoon I got a phone call from my son, Jordan, who again surprised me with, "Hey Pops! Happy Fathers Day! Would you like to go camping for a few days? " He got some unexpected days off ... totally took me by surprise. Tomorrow we will be camping. YAY!
This Sunday sunny afternoon, I spent the time with my sister Bonnie and our lovely friend Nancy.
First, Bonnie and I hiked around Helen Schuler area looking for different kinds of wildlife.

Bonnie punched me a couple of times when she thought it was I who threw something in the bushes. I was actually innocent ... this time. Hahaha

After our hike we met Nancy in the picnic area and had a weiner roast with beer and chips. Yummy! First weiner roast of the season.

While Bonnie was chilling at the picnic table, Nancy and I walked around looking for the owls. We eventually did find the owls nest, but unfortunately no owls or Owlets.

It was a fantastic day and evening ... great temperature, great company with a lot of laughs.
