Arrived early from the airport on January 18th at our hotel on Seminyak Beach area.  By 9am it was already over 31 degrees Celsius.  This was just the start of the day ... the temperature got up to 40 degrees today … very warm, but no complaints.  It was a day for going to the beach and cooling off in the water … so nice.  We had built up an appetite and walked about 3 blocks to an area that had over 15 restaurants.  The price for food and beverages were very cheap in Bali.  We ordered the pizza of all pizzas … it was over 50cm.  The pizza was amazing and we revisited this restaurant, Warung Italia, for pizza three times!  In the evening we took a short walk on Seminyak Beach.  Being on the beach today, they had the usual lounging chairs and umbrellas, however at nighttime this area transformed into a busy unique beach gathering.  Different locations had bean bags and tables set up that were completely filled with tourists.  The tourists come here in the late afternoon for a social and watch the sun set.  The sunsets on this beach are amazing.
