Leaving at 12:40 PM to Madrid via the speed train.
Trains leave on time. It is worse to buy train tickets for fast trains before arriving in Europe. It is cheaper and guarantees reservation.
They have a security check for boarding these trains. Luggage goes through security as well.
Train ride is smooth and fast. Arrived in Madrid in less than 3 hours.
Speed at this restaurant, steakburger. It was a very good hamburger I must say. The decor is very nice here as well.
It was priced at 11,50 for burger and fries and 3,50 for a large beer.
Thought I would check this place out as it was highly recommended. There was a line up out the door and the place was packed ... decided not to bother. Hahaha
It was raining all day here ... great day for the train to arrive at La Atocha Train Station. It only cost 1,50€ to get metro from here to Opera station. I must say the Metro system in Spain and Portugal are amazing. I did not have to use a taxi once.
