Visiting the Outskirts of La Alberca

Date of Event: March 30, 2019

Today was our first day of working.   Many activities were planned that were extremely organized and a lot of fun to do.   Breakfast was a buffet that had hot and cold options and was very tasty.  The meals for lunch and dinner were unbelievable from an appetizer,  main course and a desert,  you did not leave the table hungry.  LOL So much food and was absolutely delicious and creatively displayed.

We had many one on one presentations, and other creative activities to set the pace in conversational English.

During the siesta time today,  I cannot sleep in the afternoon so I walked twenty minutes into the village of La Alberca.   I covered a couple of the streets and took a few photos.

A farmers fence had a neat design where steps were built into the wall to climb over the fence.

This gate had a religious connotation to it.

I had observed crosses like this around the town. It turns out that these crosses are like border markers for the town.

It is so hard to believe you can see blossoms in March.

The walk on this gravel road was very peaceful.   No vehicles went by and such a contrast in such a short distance.

I don't know anything about the following structure,  but was impressed with its design.

This afternoon we had group meetings and had some activities in small groups.   Thought provoking and certainly many fun activities.
