Over the next few days, I spent time with family. During the day when most of the family were working or busy, Charlie and I would go for a drive to different places around Lethbridge. We stopped at a bird sanctuary and got a few nice shots of the geese coming in for a landing.
We then drove to the south east area outside of Lethbridge around Stirling and took photo's of antelope ...
... and of a farmer trying to get the crops harvested.

My final day, full day with Charlie ... tomorrow, I would have to pack up and get ready for my flight. So, today, Charlie and I were planning to finally hike Corner Mountain. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well and low on energy ... we ended up doing a couple shorter hikes around Beauvais Lake. It was a very nice area and quite scenic.
I just loved the old scraggly trees ... such interesting character to each one.
Today, there seemed to be deer everywhere.
And so ends this chapter of my travels to Yukon, Alaska, BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. An epic adventure and so many treasured memories.
From visiting with all my son Jordan, my siblings, different family members, friends and some amazing adventures, I leave holding such fond moments in time. Thank you to all who I was fortunate to meet and spend some time with. I look forward to my next visit to the great western part of Canada.
Now, I head back to Nova Scotia to visit my daughter, and friends of the east. It is here that over the next three weeks, I will have a blog of some adventures in this province. And, during this time, I will start planning my next adventure ... a 7 month trip to Asia and Europe.
