The crashing of the waves through the night was so peaceful … absolutely loved it. So much that I slept in until 9am (over 10 hours sleep). HaHaHa
This morning, after breakfast, I walked down the opposite way on the beach. There was a little spit of land jutting out I wanted to explore. Once I got there, I took a look back at Tow Hill and took a couple photo’s.
I have always said to myself, what is around the next corner. Sometimes, you just have to stop and turn back, but I pressed on and so glad that I did. Around the next corner was an old abandoned boat that had trees growing in it and sand engulfing over half of it. This is where I turned around … a great turning point (LOL).
On the way back I was walking along the treeline of the beach and noticed a bright orange color on the side of a tree. I walked into the woods and it was a beautiful bright orange fungi. I will have to ask John what type this is.
Continuing a little further down the treeline, I noticed what looked like a boat in the grass. When I went over the lip of the sand there were benches, like a church, facing the canoe. The canoe was filled with grass and moss and must be ancient. It was quite a serene sight to visit.
After lunch and an afternoon break, I headed back down the beach the way I travelled yesterday. I made it to the Blow Hole and caught some of it on video … what an ominous sound before the water busted out.
Found some great agates on the beach from both walks today. A very relaxing and enjoyable day.
