Today, Jordan and I got up a little later than usual, had breakfast and planned the day. Once we stepped outside, we realized how cold it was ... -23 ... and decided we would not go snowshoeing today. Instead, we took a drive up to Lake Louise to enjoy the view. It was certainly very cold, but enjoyable. We walked passed a sign that read 'Beware of Thin Ice', yet there were many people walking out on the ice and a group playing hockey. We took a few pictures and started to head back to shore ... we heard a loud crack in the ice and hastily made our way back.
We drove on Route 1A back towards Banff and stopped at many points of interest along our drive. As cold as it was, perfect day for taking pictures!
