Arrived in Calgary at 10:30am, in the morning and my brother picked me up at the airport. Bless his heart he knew exactly that I was hungry and what I felt like eating. We headed up to Airdrie to Paul's Restaurant and we had my favorite pizza of all time .
From Airdrie, we took a side route west of Calgary and then South towards Vulcan. We stopped about 30 minutes north of Vulcan at a park beside the highway . We stopped at the gate and when we got out of the vehicle, a large number of chickadees approached us. We got a few little pieces of treats for them and they were landing on our hand, our shoulder, our heads and on my camera. What an awesome way to start my new journey! Thanks Charlie!
