The Killing Fields … disbelief … shock … sadness … so many emotions are spinning through my very being.  From 1975 to 1979, the people of Cambodia were imprisoned, questioned and tortured.  When these holding cells were getting too full, the Khmer Rouge planned the most horrific event imaginable.   Thousands and thousands of the Cambodian prisoners were informed that they would be released and set up in their new homes.  Under this pretense, these victims were driven to a field where they would be executed and thrown in mass graves.
